Barty's Story

Bart is an 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. In September of 2011, we discovered that he was harboring a large malignant tumor in his gut. We had rushed him to the animal emergency vet. on a Saturday evening after he was showing signs of severe discomfort and distress.
The next day we were shocked to find out that he needed to be rushed into surgery, and the doctors were able to successfully remove the part of his intestines that held the tumor. It was a long excruciating 4 days before we could bring our baby home and the vet bills were outrageously expensive. We are still reeling from the financial fallout from Bart's illness, but the silver lining in all of this is that I was driven with a blind obsession to find a way to treat Bart's diagnosis naturally.
It has been just over six months since this ordeal and Bart is going strong today. I have started a blog to help others who have been faced with the shocking news of canine cancer, to treat their animals naturally.
He's tough and tender all at the same time. Most of all,he's my baby, and nothing could keep me from rescuing him. Of course, having emergency surgery and staying at the ER vet for four whole days was not a small investment in my best friend's well being, and so I'm reaching out to those who can help. Anything is appreciated, $25, $10, $5 even as little as $1 would be appreciated. Please feel free to donate whatever amount you are comfortable with andaccept my undying gratitude for your generosity.
In the meantime I will continue seeking alternative sources for treating canine cancer, and updating the blog so that others going through this can have an easier time finding the resources they need to make the best decisions for themselves and their pets.
I really appreciate any and all help, even if it's in the form of well wishes. Oh and Bart thanks you too!
